Realme announces price hike because of GST hike on smartphones

Last month, the government of India decided to increase the GST rates on smartphones from 12% to 18% starting April 1. So, several smartphone brands have announced the price hike for their smartphones.s
Realme also announced to increase the prices of Realme smartphones. Here is the media statement Realme issued to announce the price hike.

Realme has adjusted the new prices on official website realme.com.
Realme 6 with 4GB and 64GB storage now costs Rs. 13999 while it was earlier priced at Rs. 12999. Realme X2 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is now priced at Rs. Rs 17,999, Rs. 1000 from the previous cost. Realme XT with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage will now be available for Rs. 16999, while the previous cost was Rs. 15999.
