LG Velvet is coming on May 7

LG has already teased LG Velvet in a video giving us a glimpse of design. Now the company has confirmed that the phone will be announced officially on May 7. This announcement has been made via another video posted on YouTube.

10 am KST (or 6.30 am IST) on May 7. You can watch the launch live on YouTube live streaming.

We already know that the phone is coming with a new design featuring symmetrical curved-glass design with a raindrop triple-camera setup. It will be coming with Snapdragon 765 processor with built-in 5G.

We still don’t know anything about pricing or camera details. LG is using a slightly less powerful Snapdragon 765G processor in place of Snapdragon 865 to keep the price competitive. The main focus will be on offering a good user experience.

The phone will hit South Korea in the beginning and will be rolled out in other markets slowly. I cannot confirm if the phone will come to India.
