Huawei has pushed a new software update for its smartwatch Huawei Watch GT 2 that brings the SpO2 monitoring system. This update is the firmware version 1.0.6.26.

SpO2 brings the ability to monitor the oxygen levels in your blood. A healthy person should have firmware version 1.0.6.26. The low oxygen level can cause hypoxemia. Sometimes hypoxemia can lead to life-threatening complications.

SpO2 monitoring was launched with Huawei Watch GT 2e last month and now the feature has been pushed to Huawei Watch GT 2. You can perform the test anytime and anywhere using the Watch GT 2.

This update also brings improved system stability.

Huawei Watch GT 2 was launched in India last year in December. It is priced at Rs. 14990 and comes with several notable features including AMOLED display, Kirin A1 chip, Sleep monitoring, sports activity tracking, and up to 14 days of battery backup. It has built-in GPS and supports Bluetooth v5.1.
