Huawei P40 series grabs TIPA award for best photo smartphones

TIPA, the Technical Image Press Association, has awarded Huawei P40 series the award for the best Photo smartphone of 2020.

It is worth noting that Huawei dominates the TIPA awards since its introduction in 2017. This is the fourth consecutive year that the HUAWEI P Series is getting this award.

TIPA awards mainly focus on innovation and Huawei P40 series offers the largest smartphone sensor with omnidirectional phase-detect autofocus. Huawei Pro series mainly include Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro, and Huawei P40 Pro Plus. The camera of these phones was developed in conjunction with Leica. The camera software features AI-powered white balance algorithms, improved focus capability, enhanced dynamic range and low light performance and XD Fusion Engine for smooth zoom.

Huawei P40 Pro also secured DXOMARK rating of 128, the highest overall score ever seen on the DXOMARK platform. It also has highest score for selfie performance.
