Today, Huawei announced its Next Image Awards 2020, one of the world’s biggest smartphone photography and video competition. Any Huawei or Honor phone user from around the world can participate in this contest and submit their entries.

Huawei is encouraging people to submit their entries in six distinct categories that are Near Far, Google Night, Hello, Life, Faces, Live Moments and Storyteller. The company has also invited some of the world’s leading photography experts to select winners.

All submissions must be created with HUAWEI/HONOR phones. The image should be JPG and must not be less than 1,000 pixels on the shorter side and it shouldn’t exceed 20 MB in size. The size limit for video is 500 MB and it should be in MP4 format.

You can submit your entries on the official website. The Huawei Community will also be one of the official platforms for participants to submit their entries. You must log in or sign up with your Huawei ID to be one of the community users.

Apart from the 3 grand prizes of USD $10,000 each, each of the 6 categories will have its own winners. Fifty runner ups can also win the flagship Huawei P40 Pro smartphone each. The competition starts from 8th April and the deadline for submitting entries is 24:00 Beijing Standard Time (GMT +8) on 31st July 2020.
