Following GST Hike, Samsung also increases smartphone prices

Galaxy S20 Series

South Korean giant Samsung has also raised prices of its smartphones in India after the GST hike in smartphones from 12% to 18% starting today. The price hike has been announced for the company’s Galaxy S-series and M-series smartphones.

Prices of Galaxy S20 series have been increased by up to Rs 5,000. Samsung Galaxy S20 is now priced at Rs. 70500 while the launch price was Rs. 66999. New prices of Galaxy S20+ and S20 Ultra are Rs. 77,900 and Rs. 97,900 while the launch price was Rs. 73999 and Rs. 92999.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has also received a price hike. The phone was launched at Rs. 1,09,999 and it will now be sold at Rs. 1,15,890. Note 10 is now sold at Rs. 73600 and Note 10+ costs Rs. 84,200 while the launch price was Rs 69,999 and Rs 79,999, respectively.

Galaxy M21 and Galaxy M31 have also received a price hike. Now, these phones are sold at Rs. Rs 14,222 and Rs 16,856 respectively.
