Vivo NEX 3S 5G with 6.89-inch waterfall screen, Snapdragon 865, Pop-up Selfie Camera Announced

Back in September last year, Vivo announced Nex 3. Now the company introduced NEX 3S 5G smartphone in China. This phone comes with upgraded specs in the same design.

The phone retains the 6.89-inch waterfall screen at the left and right sides curves close to 90 degrees. Vivo claims the 99.6% screen-to-body ratio. The phone runs on Android 10 with Funtouch OS 10.

It packs Snapdragon 865 7nm Soc with Snapdragon X55 5G Modem. The phone also has liquid cooling to keep it cool even in high usage. The phone has LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 Storage. It comes in two models that are 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage.

There’s a triple camera on the back that includes 64 megapixels primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, 13 megapixels 120-degree ultra-wide camera and 13 megapixels telephoto camera for up to 2x optical zoom and up to 10x digital zoom. It also has a 16 megapixels selfie camera in the pop-up module.

The phone has WiFi-6 and NFC-eSE security chip. Other options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It packs a 4500mAh battery with 44W ultra-fast charging.
