Redmi Note 9 Pro Max with 6.67-inch dot display, Quad camera Launched in India

Redmi India has just announced the launch its latest smartphone Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in the Indian market. The phone starts at Rs. 14999 and will be available from March 16.

Redmi India has just announced the launch of its latest smartphone Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in the Indian market. The phone starts at Rs. 14999 and will be available from March 16.

Redmi Note 9 Pro Max features a 6.67-inch dot display with a tiny hole at the top center side. The phone has a glass back protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The front panel and camera module also get Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It comes in three colors including Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black.

The phone packs an octa-core Snapdragon 720G processor with Adreno 618GPU. It gets up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Storage is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card.

Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes with a Quad-camera setup that includes 64MP primary camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide angle sensor, 5 megapixels macro camera and 2 megapixels depth camera. The macro camera lets images clicked from a distance between 2 cm to 10 cm. There’s a 32 megapixels selfie camera.

The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and also features an IR blaster. It has 2x2MIMO WIFI that lets you transfer more data at the same time for better wireless connectivity. It also supports India’s own location positioning service NaVIC. Other connectivity options are 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5 and USB Type-C.

It packs 5020 mAh battery with support to 33W fast charging. Xiaomi claims that the battery can be charged from 0-50% in just 30 minutes. The good thing is that the 33W charger will be shipped in the box.

The phone will be available from Amazon India along with Xiaomi’s online and offline stores starting Monday, March 16.
