Redmi K30 Pro with 6.67-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 865, 4700mAh battery announced
Redmi K30 Pro features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ E3 AMOLED Display with HDR10+ rating and DCI-P3 Wide Color Gamut. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display refresh rate is still 60Hz when most of the flagships are now offering 90Hz or 120Hz. The phone comes with MIUI 11 based on Android 10 out of the box.
It packs Octa-Core Snapdragon 865 with Adreno 650 GPU. It also has 3435mm² VC liquid-cooled heat sink, Game Turbo 3.0, 4D vibration for the enhanced gaming experience. The phone comes in two variants that are 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. It uses UFS 3.1 storage for faster read/write.
The phone features a quad camera that includes 64 megapixels primary camera with a Sony IMX686 sensor, 5 megapixels telephoto camera with macro capabilities, 13 megapixels 123° ultra-wide-angle camera and a depth camera. The camera can record 8k at 30fps, 4k 60fps, and 960fps slow-motion at 1080p.
There’s also a Redmi K30 Pro zoom edition. As the name suggests, the phone has a different camera setup to offer optical zoom capability. It has 64 megapixels primary camera with Sony IMX686 sensor, 8 megapixels telephoto camera for 3x optical zoom, 30x digital zoom, 13 megapixels 123° ultra-wide-angle camera and a depth camera. There’s a 20 megapixels pop-up selfie camera.
The phone comes with an IP53 rating for being water-resistant. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and also an infrared sensor. The phone measures 163.3 x 75.4 x 8.9 mm and weighs 218g.
Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz) MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (L1 + L5), NFC, and USB Type-C. It packs 4700mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
