Realme 6i with a 6.5-inch display, Helio G80, quad cameras announced

Today, Realme announced a budget phone Realme 6i in Mayanmar. This phone is the successor to the previously launched Realme 5i.

Realme 6i features a 6.5-inch HD+ 20:9 mini-drop display protected with Gorilla Glass 3+. The phone claims to have am 89.8% screen-to-body ratio. It runs on Android 10 with the realme UI on top.

This is the first Realme phone to pack the latest MediaTek Helio G80 12nm SoC. There’s also ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU to handle graphics requirements. The phone comes in two carinas that are 3GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB. Storage is also expandable up to 256GB with a microSD card.

Like other recent Realme phones, this phone also packs quad-camera where the primary camera is of 48 megapixels. Other sensors are 8 megapixels ultra-wide sensor, 2 megapixels macro sensor and 2 megapixels B&W depth sensor. It also has 16 megapixels front-facing camera.

Realme 6i also has a fingerprint sensor located on the back panel. It also offers Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, and USB Type-C connectivity options.

It packs 5000mAh battery with 18W charging.

The phone comes in White Milk and Green Tea colors. Dimensions measure 164.4 x 75.x 9.0mm and it weighs 195g.

The phone is now up for pre-order and till March 26th and will go on sale in Myanmar starting from March 29th.
