Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro 5G gaming phones announced

Black Shark has announced two new flagship gaming phones Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro in China.

Both the phone feature world’s highest touch sampling rate of 270Hz. While many were expecting display with a 120Hz refresh rate, but these phones have a display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The company claims that the single-finger touch response delay is as low as 24ms and multi-finger touch response delay is as low as 28ms.

Black Shark 3 has 6.67-inch (2400 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ display and Black Shark 3 Pro has 7.1-inch (3120 × 1440 pixels) Quad HD+ display. Displays of both the phones are HDR10+ rated.

Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro 5G pack the latest Snapdragon 865 with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. Black Shark has added a Sandwich liquid cooling system. The Heat dissipation area is increased by 100%, so the heat dissipation capacity is 50% better as compared to the previous generation.

The company has also included GameEngine and SolarCore intelligent game acceleration engine to improve game load and make this phone smoother for the best gaming experience.

Black Shark has also improved gaming triggers that are now a bit larger. These triggers feature independent lifting control with zero delay and accidental touch prevention.

Camera setup in Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro 5G are the same. There’s a triple camera setup that includes 64 megapixels primary camera, 13 megapixels 120° ultra-wide camera and 5 megapixels depth camera for portrait shots. For selfies, there is a 20 megapixels shooter.

Connectivity options include 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ax (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and USB Type-C. Black Shark 3 packs 4720mAh battery and Black Shark 3 Pro comes with 5000 mAh battery, Both the phones come with 65W fast charging.
