Sony has announced an entry-level phone Xperia L4, the successor of Xperia L3 launched last year. The phone is denied to be an entertainment device

Sony Xperia L4 features a 6.2-inch (1680×720 pixels) HD+ 21:9 display. The tall aspect ratio is good for videos, web browsing when you see more content in less scrolling and it is also more convenient to use two apps simultaneously.

The phone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie). It packs an octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

Xperia L4 has a triple camera that includes 13 megapixels primary camera, 5 megapixels 117° ultra-wide camera and a 2 megapixels depth camera. The phone also includes an 8 megapixels selfie camera.

It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options are Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz)/(5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS+ GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC. The phone also packs 3580 mAh battery with support to fast charging.

The phone will be available in select markets this summer. The company has not confirmed the pricing as it will be announced locally at the time of launch in different markets.
