Along with Sony Xperia 10 II, Sony also announced its latest Flagship phone Sony Xperia 1 II (Pronounced Sony Xperia 1 Mark 2).
Sony Xperia 1 II features a 6.5-inch 4K OLED HDR Display with a 21:9 aspect ratio. Sony didn’t follow the trend of high refresh rate display, but added Motion Blur Reduction. Sony claims that it will offer the benefits of a 90Hz display by analyzing the content and adjusting individual frames to reduces frame lag. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
It packs Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with Adreno 650 GPU. The phone has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 1TB.
The phone has a triple camera setup that includes 12 megapixels primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, 12 megapixels ultra-wide camera with f/2.4 aperture and 12 megapixels telephoto camera with OIS and 2x lossless zoom. There is also a 3D iToF (indirect Time-of-Flight) sensor. It can shoot 4K and 960 fps Super slow motion. The phone can also shoot 20fps bursts with AF tracking. Sony Xperia 1 II also features an 8 megapixels selfie camera.
The phone has Stereo speakers. It also has Dolby Atmos and Qualcomm aptX HD audio.
The Sony Xperia 1 II comes in Black, White and Purple colors. It measures 166 × 72 × 7.9mm and weighs 181g. The phone is IP68 rated. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor located on the power button.
This flagship offers 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC, and USB 3.1 Type-C connectivity. It also packs 4000 mAh battery with support to 21W USB-PD fast charging and Qi Wireless charging.
