Echo Auto features an eight-microphone array for listening to you properly. Alexa can hear you even if there’s music or road noise around. You can ask Alexa to play music, make calls, send messages, send reminders and more using voice commands. You can also ask for directions for the nearest coffee shops, petrol pumps and more.

It uses your car’s 12V charging socket or USB port for power and connects to Alexa using the Alexa app on your phone.

Echo Auto also has a button to turn off the microphone. There could be some situations when you do not Alexa to listen to you, you can turn off microphones.

It is worth to note that Echo Auto is not compatible with all cars using Bluetooth connections. You can still use Echo Auto with those cars by connecting via the included auxiliary cable.  Check here if your vehicle is compatible with the Echo Auto. Not all phones support Echo Auto, so do check if your smartphone is compatible with Echo Auto.
