Xiaomi has just announced the launch Cosmic Purple color variant of Redmi Note 8. The phone was launched last month in Neptune Blue, Moonlight White, and Space Black colors. The new color variant will go on sale starting from November 29th via Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home stores.
The phone still features a glass body protected with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

There is no change in specifications. The phone is the same but with a new color body. Redmi Note 8 comes with a 6.39-inch Full HD+ LCD screen featuring TÜV Rheinland eye protection certification. It packs Snapdragon 665 11nm processor with up to 6GB RAM. It has a quad-camera setup with the 48-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel 120° ultra-wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor for 2cm macro shots. There is a 32 megapixels selfie camera.
The phone comes with an improved speaker with a 40% better output as compared to Red Note 7. T also has a patented automatic dust cleaning feature for speaker, splash-resistant coating and 4000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

Redmi Note 8 is really a good phone considering its price. The phone features a beautiful premium glass body with different color options. It is powerful to handle day to day tasks and gaming. Cameras also perform well and you get a long battery backup. At this price, the phone is competing against recently launched Vivo U20 and Realme 5s.
