Honor has launched its next flagship phones Honor V30 and V30 Pro at an event in China. Both the phones feature high-end specs and 5G connectivity and 5 cameras.
Honor V30 and V30 Pro have the same display size, but different in RAM, camera setup and battery.
Both the phones feature a 6.57-inch Full HD+ LCD panel with 2.5D curved glass. V30 and V30 Pro look similar and feature a dual punch-hole design for the selfie camera. Honor has packed these phones with a powerful Kirin 990 processor with ARM Mali-G76MP16 GP and Big Core + Tiny Core NPUs. Honor V30 comes with 6GB and 8GB RAM options, but both the models have 128GB storage. V30 Pro features 8GB RAM with 128GB and 256GB storage.
Both the handsets run on Android 10 with Magic UI 3.0.1 custom skin on top.
Both the phones feature a triple camera on the back. Honor V30 has 40 megapixels primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, 8 megapixels ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.4 aperture and 8 megapixels telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture, OIS, 3x optical zoom, Laser AF, CAF, PDAF and LED flash.
Honor V30 Pro has a similar setup that has 40 megapixels primary camera with f/1.6 aperture, OIS along with 12 megapixels camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5-axis OIS and 8 megapixels telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture, 3x optical zoom Laser AF, CAF, PDAF, and OIS. The rear camera supports 4K HDR video recording
Both Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro come with a dual front camera setup that includes 32 megapixels primary camera and 8 megapixels secondary ultra-wide-angle camera.
The fingerprint sensor is located on a side and phones come with USB Type-C Audio. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (L1+L5 dual frequency), NFC, and USB Type-C.
V30 packs 4200mAh battery and V30 Pro has 4100mAh battery. Both the phones support ultrafast 40W Honor SuperCharge but V30 Pro also supports 27W Super Wireless Charge and 7.5W reverse charging.
