While launching Redmi 8 in India, the company confirmed that Note 8 series will also be coming to the country and it will be launched on October 16th. The Red Note 8 series include Redmi Note 8 Pro with 64MP quad-camera and Redmi Note 8.

Xiaomi has already launched Redmi Note 8 series in China. So, we already know the specs. Now the only thing we are waiting for is the price.

Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD display, latest MediaTek Helio G90T SoC, liquid cooling, Quad-camera with 64 megapixels primary camera, 8 MP 120° ultra-wide-angle camera, 2 megapixels depth camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. It also has 20 megapixels front camera. The phone packs 4500 mAh battery with support to 18W MediaTek Pump Express fast charging.

Redmi Note 8 features a 6.39-inch Full HD+ LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It packs Octa-Core Snapdragon 665 with Adreno 610 GPU. It will feature a quad-camera with 48 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels 120° ultra-wide-angle camera, 2 megapixels depth camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. It packs 4000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

Both the phones will come with P2i nano-coating for being Splash proof, fingerprint sensor, and IR sensor.

The series should start at Rs. 9999 just like the Redmi Note 7 series. After the tough competition from Realme, Redmi has also become more aggressive in terms of pricing.
