Oppo has announced its latest mid-range smartphone Opportunities K5 at an event in China. The phone is the successor of Oppo K3 and starts at 1899 yuan in China.
OPPO K5 features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. It has a glass back with 3D Gorilla Glass 5 Protection. The phone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0 at the top.
The phone packs Octa-Core Snapdragon 730G Processor with Adreno 618 GPU. It comes in three different variants including 6GB RAM with 64GB Storage, 8GB RAM with 64GB Storage and 8 GB RAM with 256GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 256GB.
It has a 64 megapixels quad-camera setup on the back. The setup includes. 64 megapixels primary camera with Samsung GW1 sensor f/1.8 aperture and EIS. There are also 8 megapixels 119° ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.25 aperture, 2 megapixels depth camera f/2.4 aperture and 2 megapixels 4cm macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. It also has 32 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The camera app features AI scene recognition, Chrome boost, Super nightscape, and Expert mode.
Oppo K5 has an In-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options are Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and NFC. It packs 4000mAh battery with support to 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging.
The phone comes in Green, Blue and White colors. It measures 158.7×75.2×8.6mm and weighs 182g.
