Huawei has announced its latest mid-range smartphone Huawei Nova 5z in China. This phone is the cheaper variant of Huawei Nova 5i Pro that was launched back in July this year.

Huawei Nova 5z features a 6.26-inch Full HD+ IPS display with support to DCI-P3 wide color gamut. The phone has a punch-hole display where the hole houses the selfie camera. It has gradient back and comes in Aurora Blue, Emerald Green and Midnight Black colors.

The phone is powered by Octa-Core Kirin 810 processor with ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU. It packs 6GB RAM and comes in 64GB or 128GB storage options. Storage is also expandable up to 256GB.

The phone has a quad-camera setup that includes 48 megapixels primary camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, 2 megapixels macro camera and 2 megapixels depth camera. It also has 32 megapixels selfie camera.

Nova 5z features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, and USB Type-C. It packs 4000mAh battery with support to 20W fast charging.

The 64GB variant of Huawei Nova 5z is priced at 1599 yuan while the 128GB variant costs 1799. The phone is now available for order in China and will go on sale starting November 1.
