Call of Duty: Mobile, the mobile version of popular game Call of Duty, is ruling the popular apps chart on both Android and iOS app stores. The mobile game has already crossed 100 million download mark in just a week of launch.

With this huge user base in just a week, Call of Duty: Mobile has become the largest mobile game launch in history in terms of the player base. The game was launched by Activision Blizzard on October 1.

If we compare it with other popular action games, PUBG Mobile, Fortnite, and Apex Legends achieved 26.3 million, 22.5 million and 25 million downloads respectively in their first week of release. But it also important to note that PUBG was released in limited regions and Fortnite was iOS-only at the time of launch.

Sensor Tower says that 55.7 percent of down’s are on the iOS platform and earned 17.7 million in revenue from in-app purchases. The US accounted for 16.9 percent of downloads and 43.1 percent of spending.

Call of Duty: Mobile is a first-person-shooter game that lets users portray elite soldiers hunting down targets. The is owned by Tencent Holdings that also has a stake in PUBG’s Bluehole and Fortnite’s Epic Games.

Call of Duty: Mobile is still not available in China that has a big population of mobile gamers. When the game will be available in China, it could break a few more records. It will also be interesting to see if loyal PUBG and Fortnite fans will move over to the new title.
