Amazon Music is finally coming to Apple TV. The company has started rolling out its Apple TV App. The app requires tvOS 12.0 or later.
Amazon Music is available for both the 4K model and the standard HD one. If you own any of these, you can download the app from the tvOS App Store. The app is available in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Canada, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Mexico, Japan, and India.
Amazon Music app gives users access to Amazon’s catalog of songs, playlists, and stations. You also get an option to see scrolling lyrics within the app. The also lets you access all purchased and imported music that is there in “My Music” Library.
If you own Apple TV, you need to check the tvOS App Store to download the app. After the download, you need to activate your Apple TV as a recognized device with Amazon. It will display a six-letter pairing code on the app and you need to use a browser on another device to open https://amazon.com/code and enter that code.
It is also worth to note that there is no Alexa option on the Apple TV platform. At the moment, I am not sure if Siri will be available to start Amazon Music playback.
