LG G8s ThinQ with 6.2-inch OLED display, IP68 rating launched in India for Rs. 36990
LG has just launched a new smartphone LG G8s ThinQ in India. This phone was introduced at the MWC earlier this year. It is priced at Rs. 36,990.

LG G8s ThinQ features 6.2-inch 19.5:9 FHD+ FullVision OLED Display. The display also has a wide notch at the top. The phone has glass build and features 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie). It packs Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with Adreno 640 GPU. The phone has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage with an option to expand storage up to 2TB.
It has a triple camera setup with 12 megapixels primary camera having f/1.5 aperture, OIS along with 13 megapixels 137˚ super-wide camera with f/2.4 aperture and 12 megapixels telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture. There’s also an 8 megapixels front camera with f/1.9 aperture along with a 3D ToF sensor for secure Face Unlock and better background blur.
The ToF sensor is also used for Hand ID that uses Z Camera’s ability to scan a user’s unique circulatory pattern and use this pattern to unlock the phone even in dark. It is also used as a touchless command interface to perform several actions without touching the phone’s display.
The phone has an IP68 rating for being Water and dust resistant. It also has MIL-STD 810G certification that makes this phone tough to survive accidental drops.
LG G8s ThinQ has Stereo speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack and DAC. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0. It packs 3550 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
LG G8s ThinQ will be available across retail outlets starting from tomorrow, September 29th.
