After a long time, Gionee has also shown its presence by launching a budget phone Gionee F9 Plus in the Indian market. It is also worth to note that Gionee brand is now being operated by Karbonn Mobile’s holding entity Jaina Group that took over the Indian arm of Gionee.
Gionee F9 Plus is priced at Rs. 7690 and will be available from Gionee’s distribution network of 42000 retail outlets and from all leading e-commerce platforms.

Gionee F9 Plus features a 6.26-inch HD+ display and runs on Android 9.0 Pie. It packs 1.6GHz Octa-Core processor, 3GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage. Storage is also expandable up to 256GB with microSD card. It features a dedicated microSD card slot along with dual SIM.
The phone has a dual camera that 13 megapixels primary camera and 2 megapixels secondary camera. It also has 13 megapixels front camera.
It has a fingerprint sensor located on the back panel. There’s a U shaped notch. The volume rocker is located on the right side along with power button. Below the display, there’s a thick bezel with Gionee branding.
Gionee F9 Plus features Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, and micro USB connectivity. It packs 4050 mAH battery.
The company has also launched Wireless Headphones, Wireless Neckband Headset, Earphones, and Powerbanks under a new sub-brand called GBuddy.
