Vivo just announced its latest mid-range smartphone Vivo Z5 with triple camera in China. Price starts at 1598 yuan in China and it will be available from August 1st.

Vivo Z5 features a 6.38-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED and claims to offer 90% screen-to-body ratio. The phone runs on Funtouch OS 9.1 based on Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box. It packs octa-core Snapdragon 712 with Adreno 616 GPU. It also has 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB / 256GB storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage.

The phone has a triple camera that includes 48 megapixels primary camera with f/1.79 aperture, 8 megapixels 120-degree ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture and 2 megapixels depth camera with f/2.4 aperture. It also has 32 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Vivo Z5 features In-display fingerprint sensor. It also supports Face Unlock. The phone comes with Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C connectivity option. It packs 4500 mAh battery with 22.5w fast charging.

The phone comes in Black, Blue, and Aurora Blue colors. It weighs 187g.

Vivo Z5 will be available in China starting August 1 and will go on sale from August 6.
