Along with Realme note 8 series, Realme also announced its first smart TV called Red TV. The company has just unveiled a single model with large 70-inch 4K screen that also supports HDR 10.

It comes with a very simple design with bare-minimum bezels. It can be either put on a tabletop or can be wall-mounted. This smart TV runs on PatchWall based on Android. We have already seen this Android Skin on Xiaomi smart TVs.

It packs 1.5GHz Quad-Core Amologic Cortex A53 processor with 750MHz Mali-450MP3 GPU. It also has 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. It also features WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) and Bluetooth 4.2. There are 3 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports.

Redmi TV has a cavity speaker that supports Dolby Atmos. You can also cast content from your phone by scanning the QR code on the TV using your phone.

It will go on sale in China starting September 3. It is priced at CNY 3,799.

Redmi has not made any comments on international availability. Mi TVs are available in India and we can expect Redmi TVs to be available in India soon.
