A few days back, Realme gave us a chance to experience its 64MP camera phone without revealing any other detail. Now the company has officially unveiled the 64MP camera phone called Realme XT.

Realme XT comes with a Quad-camera setup that has 64 MP primary camera. Other cameras include an 8 megapixels super-wide-angle camera offering 119-degree FoV, 2 megapixels macro camera to capture photos from up to 4 cm and a 2 megapixels depth camera. For 64MP camera, Realme is using Samsung’s 64 MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor. The primary camera also comes with EIS support, Nightscape, Chroma Boost, and HDR.

Much like a 48-MP sensor, the 64MP camera also uses pixel binning called Tertracell technology to stitch 4 pixels into one for offering 16 MP shots. If you want 64MP camera, you will have to switch to 64MP camera mode from settings.

It also has 16-megapixel selfie shooting camera with Sony IMX471 sensor.

The phone has Super AMOLED Dewdrop Full-Screen display and Realme claims the 92.1% screen-to-body ratio. The phone also features the latest in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone features a 3D glass hyperbola curve back design that really looks attractive.

It packs Snapdragon 712 AIE and Adreno 616 GPU. The phone will come with 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of RAM options along with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage. It also packs 4000mAh battery with support to 20W VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge.

The company plans to launch this phone in India just before Diwali. So we should know the pricing and availability details next month. Until then, we can keep guessing the pricing.

Xiaomi is also set to unveil its 64MP camera phone today. So stay tuned if you don’t want to miss any update.
