Today, Realme hosted ‘Camera Innovation Event’ in New Delhi to talk about the 64 MP Quad camera of its upcoming smartphone. The main highlight was the 64 MP camera that produces photos with a higher level of detail.

Realme gave us the demo unit of its upcoming phone and we were only allowed to explore 64 MP camera. So, we just know about the camera on this phone.

Along with a 64MP camera, the phone will also feature a super-wide-angle camera, macro camera, and depth camera. The super-wide-angle camera will offer 119-degree FoV and f/2.2 aperture. The macro camera will allow users to capture photos from up to 4 cm.

Realme will be using Samsung’s 64 MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor that was launched back in May 2019. This sensor uses the industry’s smallest pixel for current smartphone sensors and also supports 2×2 pixel-binning Tetracell technology that merges 4 pixels into one to produce 16 MP photos.
