Along with Realme 5 Pro, Realme also launched Realme 5 in its Realme 5 series of smartphones. It starts at Rs. 9999 and will be available starting from August 27th.

Realme 5 is large with 6.5-inch HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection. The phone has waterdrop notch this time the company has reduced the size of a drop to give more display area. The phone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0.

It is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 665 processor with Adreno 610 GPU. It comes in three models including 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, and 4GB RAM with 128GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 126GB with microSD card.

Realme 5

Realme 5 has a quad-camera setup with 12 megapixels primary Sony IMX386 sensor and f/1.8 aperture, 8 megapixels 118° ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.25 aperture, 2 megapixels depth sensor with 1.75μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture and 2 megapixels camera for 4cm macro shots.

The phone has a plastic back with crystal design that looks really good. It is also Splash resistant. The phone has a large battery so weighs 198 grams. It comes in Crystal Blue and Crystal Purple colors.

Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, and Micro USB. It also packs 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging.
