When Realme showcased its 64MP camera tech, it confirmed that Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro will be launched soon in India. It also confirmed the presence of Quad-camera setup in upcoming phones.

Now we know that both Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro smartphones will be launched in India on August 20. Flipkart has already posted the teaser confirming quad camera setup of Realme 5 having a primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, an ultra-wide camera, Super Macro camera, and depth camera.

This time, the company is putting a large 5000 mAh battery.

Madhav Sheth, Realme CEO, confirmed that the phone will be the first quad-camera phone under Rs. 10000 and it will also be the 1st to bring a Qualcomm chipset in India. This could be Snapdragon 655. We have already seen a Realme phone (model number RMX1911) listed on Geekbench with Snapdragon 655.

Realme 5 Pro should come with Snapdragon 712 and offer VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 fast charging. It will also feature a Quad-camera setup.

Both Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro will be officially launched in India on August 20. Stay tuned for all the latest updates.
