Oppo just launched its new smartphone Reno 2 in India. The company has been teasing the launch for a few days and we even saw TV commercial promoting the phone. The phone is priced at Rs. 36990 and will be available from Amazon.in, Flipkart and other retailers online and offline.

OPPO Reno 2 features a 6.55-inch (2400 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with 20:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The phone has ultra-narrow bezels and claims a 93.1% screen-to-body ratio. The phone has gradient 3D Glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It runs on Android Pie with ColorOS 6.

It packs Octa-Core Snapdragon 730G Processor with Adreno 618 GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB storage. Storage is also expandable.

The phone has quad-camera setup that includes 48 megapixels IMX586 Sony IMX586 camera with f/1.7 aperture, PDAF, OIS & EIS, 8 megapixels 116-degree Ultra Wide Lens, 13 megapixels telephoto lens for 5x Hybrid Optical Zoom and 2 megapixels mono lens. It also has 16 megapixels front camera with LED flash. The front camera has been put on a Shark fin rising camera module. Oppo claims that this module can Shark fin rising camera and can take only 0.8 sec.

The phone has In-display fingerprint sensor that claims to be faster than the previous gen. It also has Dolby Atmos for good audio.

The phone will be available for pre-order from September 10th September and sale begins 20th September.
