Oppo India has just tweeted a teaser of Oppo Reno 2 and confirmed the launch date of the phone. This phone will be first launched in India on August 28 and later it will be launched in China or in other markets.
The teaser image confirms the same slide-out selfie camera setup we saw in Oppo Reno. This time the company will be adding a Quad-camera setup. We can assume that these cameras will be for ultra-wide-angle, telephoto and depth.

The teaser image also says 20X zoom. I can’t say this is 20X optical zoom or Hybrid zoom, but I suppose it to be Hybrid zoom. There might be multiple variants of the Oppo Reno 2 but there’s nothing certain.
Oppo’s decision to launch Reno 2 first in India shows its commitment to the market. Oppo may not be doing as good as its sub-brand Realme and OnePlus, still, Oppo has considerable market share. Giving India a priority will surely help it in increasing its market share in the coming months.
