OnePlus TVs have been in rumours for past few months, but we only knew that OnePlus will launch it before Diwali. Now the company has officially confirmed the brand name ‘OnePlus TV’ and also revealed it’s logo. It indicates that launch is on the way.

The company had asked OnePlus community members to suggest names for it’s smart TVs. After a year of discuss, now they have come with this name.

“Yes, we are going to call our very first smart TV product “OnePlus TV” – simple yet to-the-point – as we believe there’s no other name that can best represent our value, vision and pride than naming it with our own brand,” said the community expert while announcing the OnePlus TV.

A recent report also confirmed that there will be multiple models including a few with OLED display. It will be interesting to see if OnePlus uses stock Android TV os or any custom UI similar to what it does with smartphones. We can also expect bundled subscriptions to attract customers.

In past one year, several brands launched their smart TVs in India. Xiaomi has already gained a large chunk of market share by offering smart TVs in affordable price.

We do not have much to talk about OnePlus TV. But we are trying to gather more information. So follow us on different social media channels for latest tech updates.
