ZTE’s Nubia brand just announced its latest flagship smartphone Nubia Z20 in China. This phone is unique due to its dual display.

Nubia Z20 comes with a 6.42-inch FHD+ AMOLED curved glass display along with a 5.1-inch HD+ AMOLED secondary display on the backside. The rear display comes with a blue-light-blocking coating for safer and comfortable viewing, The phone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with nubia UI 7.0.

It packs Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 Plus processor with Adreno 640 GPU. It comes with 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 512GB storage options. Nubia has used LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.0 storage.

The phone has triple camera setup that includes 48 megapixels primary camera having Sony IMX586 sensor, OIS and f/1.7 aperture along with 16 megapixels 122.2° ultra-wide camera, 8 megapixels telephoto lens for 3x loss-less zoom and 30x digital zoom. The same setup is used for selfies using the secondary display at the back.

It not just support 8K ultra-high definition, but boasts 1920fps super slow motion and HDR10 10bit video recording.

The phone has Dual side-mounted fingerprint sensors. It also has FIT4.0, pressure-sensitive frame with long and short grip shortcut functions. So, you have an option for right and left virtual game button functions.

Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz) 2 x 2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.1, Dual GPS (L1/L5), and USB Type-C. It packs 4000mAh battery with support for 27W fast PD charging as well as Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0.

It will go on sale in China on August 16th and the global launch (USA/Canada/EU/UK) set for September 2019.
