Garmin Jas unveiled a new Fenix 6 series of watches that includes Garmin Fenix 6X Pro Solar. It is Garmin’s first solar-powered watch. The name of the watch itself explains the feature.

Garmin Fenix 6X Pro Solar features a transparent lens that also acts as solar power cell. But this solar charging is only to boost the battery life and adds minor value in it. The watch’s battery life is normally 21 days plus 3 days from solar charging if you are exposed enough in sunlight.

The watch has 1.4-inch display with 280 x 280px resolution. The display shows time and other data. The watch also comes with music storage. You get 32 GB of storage to fill with music from Spotify or Amazon Music and then listen to it on your Bluetooth headphones.

Fenix 6X Pro Solar

It is rated for 10ATM water resistance. Garmin has also added Pulse Ox blood oxygen saturation tracking that estimates body energy levels. It can also track heart rate, sleep, and activity. It can also track blood oxygen level. The watch also has GPS, GLONASS and Galileo to track your location. It also has altimeter for elevation data and a barometer for weather alerts.

The watch has a Titanium body and measures 51mm in diameter. You get silicone or titanium QuickFit band. It weighs 82g.
