Xiaomi has just launched its new budget phone Redmi 7A in the Indian market. The phone starts at Rs. 5999 and will be available from Flipkart starting July 11.
Xiaomi Redmi 7A features a 5.45-inch HD+ display. It runs on Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10. It packs a 2.0 GHz Snapdragon 439 processor and Adreno 505 GPU. The phone has 2 GB RAM but will be available in 16GB and 32 GB storage options. Storage is also expandable up to 256GB.
The phone has a 12 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and Sony IMX486 sensor. Sony IMX 486 is the same sensor that was used in MiA2 and Redmi Note 7. So, camera performance should be good. It also has a 5 megapixels front camera.
The phone P2i nano-coating that makes it Splash resistant. It also features Wireless FM Radio that is a good addition for rural customers.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and micro USB. It packs 4000 mAh battery.
The phone comes in Matte Blue, Matte Gold and Matte Black colors. It weighs 150g and dimensions measure 146.30×70.41×9.55mm.
