Samsung Galaxy A80 with 6.7-inch AMOLED Infinity display, rotating camera launched at Rs. 47,990
Samsung’s rotating camera phone Samsung Galaxy A80 has finally been launched in the Indian market. This phone costs Rs. 47990 and will be available starting next month.
Samsung Galaxy A80 features a 3D glass body with a metal frame. The most interesting thing in the phone is its rotating camera module. It remains at the backside. When you switch to the front camera, the module slides up and rotates the rear camera to act as a front camera.
This module has a high-end camera setup that can also be used for selfies. It has a triple camera that includes 48 megapixels primary rear camera along with 8 megapixels 123-degree ultra-wide-angle camera and a depth camera.
The phone features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 20: 9 New Infinity Super AMOLED display. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with Samsung One UI. The phone is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 730G processor with Adreno 618 GPU.
It has In-display Fingerprint sensor. It also has Dolby Atmos for good audio experience.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It also packs 3700mAh battery with 25W super-fast charging.
This phone is interesting but the cost falls on the higher side. If you compare it another rotating camera phone, Asus 6Z, it packs Snapdragon 855 and costs Rs. 32999.
Samsung Galaxy A80 will be available to pre-book from July 22 to July 31. Sales will start from August 1st across all retail stores, e-Shop, Samsung Opera House and all major leading online channels.
