HMD Global has just launched its flagship smartphone Nokia 9 PureView in the Indian market. This phone is notable due to its Penta camera setup. It is priced at Rs. 49999 and will be available starting today July 10th from Flipkart.com.
Nokia 9 PureView features a 5.99-inch (2560×1440 pixels) Quad HD pOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It runs on Android 9 Pie with pure Android experience. HMD Global also promises regular updates as soon as it is available.
The phone packs 2.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB (UFS) storage.
The phone features a penta camera setup that includes 5 cameras of 12 megapixels. In this setup, two cameras feature RGB sensor and other 3 are mono cameras. This setup uses 5 cameras for capturing HDR shots. It can also capture 60-megapixel images in burst mode and can process up to 240 megapixels of data There’s also a 20 megapixels front camera.
The phone comes with In-display Fingerprint sensor. It also has a single speaker with smart amp and a 3 mics setup with spatial recording.
Nokia 9 PureView is IP67 rated. Dimensions measure 155 x 75 x 8 mm and it weighs 172g.
Connectivity options are Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It packs 3320mAh battery with support for fast charging and Qi wireless charging.
It will be available from Flipkart starting today and from 17th July 2019 across top mobile retail outlets in India.
