Apple’s MacBook laptops are known for powerful and reliable performance for most of the tasks. These laptops are loved for video editors and photo editors. The primary reason is the macOS that is known as the most stable operating system for most of the activities.

To boost the sales of different MacBook models, Apple has announced Back to School promotional offer and also a price cut for a few MacBook models. As part of this offer, Apple has reduced the price of MacBook Air and the 13-inch MacBook Pro.

MacBook Air now retails for Rs 99,000 (original price: Rs. 1,14,000) and students can get it for Rs. 92,704 under Back to School promotional offer. The 13-inch MacBook Pro now starts at Rs. 1,19,000 (Rs. 1,49,000) but can be bought for Rss 1,11,264 by students.

Apple’s Back to School promotional offer is available for higher education students, their parents, faculty, staff and home-school teachers through the Apple Education Store. This offer is also available through Apple Authorised Resellers from July 25.

Apple has also announced updates to entry-level 13-inch MacBook Pro. Now the base model comes with 1.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 8th-generation processor alongside 128GB of SSD and 8GB of RAM. It also includes Touch Bar, Touch ID, a True Tone Retina Display, and the Apple T2 Security Chip. MacBook Air also gets True Tone Retina Display as an upgrade.

Apple has also discontinued the non-Retina MacBook Air and 12-inch MacBook. Both of these laptops are no longer listed on Apple’s website.
