Asus has launched a few new laptops in its ROG Zephyrus and Strix family of laptops. Newly added laptops are Zephyrus S Series, Zephyrus M, Strix G, Strix Scar III, and Hero III gaming laptops. These laptops were originally unveiled at the Computex 2019 in Taipei.
Zephyrus S Series includes two models GX701 & GX531. These are the world’s slimmest gaming laptops featuring 15-inch and 17-inch categories.
GX531 features a 15.6-inch FULL HD display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It has Intel Core i7-9750H processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 (Max-Q) GPU. RAM is 8GB but can be expanded up to 24 GB. It also features 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD storage. It packs 60Whr battery and weighs 2.1 KG.
GX701 is bigger due to 17.3-inch FULL HD display with up to 240Hz refresh rate. It packs Intel Core i7-9750H processor with 8GB DDR6 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 (Max-Q) GPU. It has 16GB RAM that can be expanded up to 32GB and offers 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD and 1 empty slot for further expanding storage. It packs larger 76Whr battery and weighs 2.6KG.
Zephyrus S GX531 starts at Rs. 2,39,990 and GX701 is priced at Rs. 2,99,990.
ASUS ROG Zephyrus M GU502 comes with 15.6-inch FULL HD display with a 144Hz refresh rate. This laptop offers Intel Core i7-9750H processor with 6GB DDR6 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti GPU, 16GB DDR4 2666MHz SDRAM the is expandable up to 32GB, 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD and 76Whr battery. It weighs 1.9 KG.
Asus Zephyrus M GU502 starts from Rs. 1,49,990.
ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR III and Hero III come with Intel’s 9th Generation processors and up to 32GB RAM. GPU options are Nvidia GTX 1660Ti, an RTX 2060 or an RTX 2070 depending on the model you choose. You also have display sizes up to 17.3-inch FULL HD with a 240Hz refresh rate.
ROG Strix G has two models G531 and G731. These laptops are powered by Intel’s 9th Generation processors and offer up to 32GB RAM. You have options for either the Nvidia GTX 1660Ti, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 an RTX 2060 or an RTX 2070. Display sizes go up to 17.3-inch FULL HD with a 144Hz refresh rate.
Strix Scar III & Hero III starts from Rs. 1,39,990 and ROG Strix G is priced at Rs. 59,990
