Xiaomi Mi 9T with 6.39-inch display, pop-up selfie camera, triple rear camera, in-display fingerprint scanner announced

Xiaomi has just announced its latest phone Xiaomi Mi 9T in Europe. This phone is basically the Redmi K20 for the European market.

Xiaomi Mi 9T features a 6.39-inch Full HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio AMOLED HDR display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10 out of the box.

It packs Octa Core Snapdragon 730 process with Adreno 618 GPU. It packs 6GB RAM and comes in 64GB or 128GB storage options.

The phone has a triple camera on the back that includes 48 megapixels primary camera with Sony IMX582 sensor, 6P lens, f/1.75 aperture, 8 megapixels telephoto lens offering 2x loss-less zoom and 13 megapixels 124.8° ultra-wide sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The phone has 20 megapixels front camera with f/2.2 aperture. It uses pop-up selfie camera mechanism.

Mi 9T features In-display fingerprint sensor. It also offers Qualcomm WCD9375 Hi-Fi audio chip.

Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C. It packs 4000 mAh battery with support to 18W fast charging.

The phone has 3D curved design where the back panel has flame pattern in blue and red. There is also a unique Kevlar gradient texture in black version.

The 64GB storage version costs €329 and the 128GB storage version costs €369. The 64GB variant will go on sale in Spain from June 17th and 128GB version will be available later.
