Vivo has announced a new smartphone Vivo Y12. The phone is now listed on the official website. 4GB RAM variant is also available on Amazon.in for Rs. 12499.

The phone features a 6.35-inch Halo FullView LCD display with 1544 x 720 pixels resolution. The phone runs on Funtouch OS 9 based on Android Pie.

It is powered by 2.0 GHz octa-core Helio P22 processor. There is an Ultra Game Mode that intelligently allocates system resources to prioritize your game’s performance. It also reduces frame drop for a smoother gaming experience.

It comes in two variants including 3GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 32GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

The phone has a triple camera that includes 13 megapixels f/2.2 main, 8 megapixels f/2.2 super-wide, and 2 megapixels f/2.4 depth sensor cameras. It also has 8 megapixels front camera f/1.8 aperture. The AI Face Beauty feature helps in capturing better selfies.

Fingerprint sensor is located on the back panel.

Connectivity options include dual, 4G VoLTE, dual-band WI-FI, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0, GPS and micro USB. The phone has 5,000 mAh battery. There is also an intelligent power-saving tech to further extend battery life.

It comes in Aqua Blue and Burgundy Red colors. Dimensions measure 159.43 × 76.77 × 8.92mm and it weighs 190.5g.
