Samsung India today launched the world’s first QLED 8K TV in India. Obviously, this TV belongs to the ultra-premium segment and is for luxury homes. Samsung QLED 8K TV offers Real 8K Resolution, 8K AI Upscaling, Quantum Processor 8K, and Quantum HDR for offering stunning 8K experience.
Samsung QLED 8K TVs come in four different screen sizes including 98-inch (247 cm), 82-inch (207 cm), 75-inch (189 cm) and 65-inch (163 cm).
If you compare the screen resolution with 4K UHD, it has four times more pixels and 16 times more than a Full HD TV. So, you will get sharper and exceptionally true-to-life picture quality.
It also packs Samsung’s proprietary 8K AI Upscaling technology that uses machine learning for upscaling picture and sound quality to 8K regardless of the original source quality or format. It doesn’t matter if you are watching content through a streaming service, set-top box, HDMI, USB or smartphone mirroring, content will appear in 8K quality.
It also creates a detailed sound experience by tailoring the audio settings. .
Samsung’s 2019 QLED TV lineup also comes with Bixby allowing consumers to perform several things and access content just by voice commands. It also supports other voice assistants like Google Assistant. Samsung consumers will also be able to access the iTunes library and browse the iTunes Store.
Samsung Q900R 98-inch 8K Smart QLED TV is priced at Rs. 59,99,900. It will be made only after order. The 82-inch and 75-inch 8K Smart QLED TV models cost Rs. 16,99,900 and Rs. 10,99,900, respectively. There is also a 65-inch Smart QLED TV model that will be available in July.
Samsung QLED 8K smart TVs will be available at all Samsung Smart Plazas, consumer electronic stores and across online platforms, include Samsung’s official online store Samsung Shop.

- Samsung Q70R 55-inch: Rs. 1,69,900
- Samsung Q70R 65-inch: Rs. 2,79,900
- Samsung Q60R 43-inch: Rs. 94,900
- Samsung Q60R 82-inch: Rs. 7,49,900
These smart TV models will be available starting this month.
