ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia announced Nubia X with two displays last year. Now the company has announced the 5G variant of the same phone called Nubia X 5G. This new phone comes with Qualcomm’s X50 modem for 5G connectivity.

Nubia X 5G has been unveiled at a 5G+ mobile conference hosted by China Mobile today. The phone packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 along with Qualcomm’s X50 modem. The company didn’t talk about other specs, but we guess specs are the same as in regular Nubia X. This new phone just brings additional 5G connectivity. There’s also a 5G logo next to the LED flash.

We are not sure when this phone will be launched. It should be first come to China before coming to other 5G markets.

Just to recall, Nubia X features a 6.26-inch FHD+ 19:9 display along with a secondary 5.1-inch HD+ AMOLED screen on the back. The secondary screen blends into the glass body and with matching wallpaper, it is hard to differentiate between display and glass back.

The phone also has a dual camera with 16 megapixels primary and 24 megapixels secondary camera. It has a fingerprint sensor on both the sides that makes it suitable for both the right and left-handers. The phone also packs 3800mAh battery with support to Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging.
