Nothing much has been revealed but we are expecting this phone to be the global variant of Redmi Note 7 that was launched with 48 MP dual camera in China.

Redmi Note 7s to come with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display. Snapdragon 660, 4GB/6GB RAM, 48-MP+ 5-MP Dual Camera, 13 MP front camera and 4000 mAh battery.

Not sure why Xiaomi decided to launch this phone when Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro both were doing well. Putting a phone between these two will lead to confusion in selection.

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7 series has already clocked 2 million sales in India. Note 7 Pro and Note 7 both are attracting consumers and the phone is still really hard to get in open sale. Now Xiaomi is adding another phone to the series.
