Vivo has introduced a new smartphone Vivo Y3 in its latest Y series of mid-range smartphones. The phone is priced at 1500 Yuan and is already up for sale in China.
Vivo Y3 features a 6.35-inch HD+ curved glass display. It runs on Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9.0. The phone is powered by 2.3GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P35 processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage with an option to expand storage 256GB with microSD.

It features a triple camera with 13 megapixels primary f/2.2 camera along with 2 megapixels depth camera and 8 megapixels ultra-wide angle camera. It has 16 megapixels front camera.
It offers Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS and micro USB. The phone has a fingerprint sensor located on the back panel. It also packs 5000mAh battery with 18W Dual-Engine fast charging.
The phone has similar specs as in Vivo Y17 that was launched in India last month. So, I don’t see any reason for launching this phone in India.
