Xiaomi has just launched its new smartphone Redmi Note 7S in the Indian market. The phone has been placed in between Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro. It starts at Rs. 10999 and will be available from Flipkart.com, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores.

Redmi Note 7S features same Aura design and comes with a glass body. It also has P2i nano-coating to make it splashproof. The phone comes in three colors including Onyx Black, Sapphire Blue, and Ruby Red.

The phone features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display protected with Gorilla Glass 5. It has a waterdrop-style notch that Xiaomi calls “Dot Notch”. It runs on MIUI 10. Redmi Note 7S packs Snapdragon 660 clocked at 2.2 GHz. It comes in two models 3 GB RAM with 32 GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64 GB storage options.

The phone has a dual camera setup that includes 48 megapixels primary  f/1.8 camera and 5 megapixels secondary camera. The phone uses super pixel technology to combines four pixels into one while capturing photos. It also has 13 megapixels primary camera.

The phone has a fingerprint sensor located on the back panel. It also has IR blaster. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth 5, USB-C and GPS+GLONASS. It comes with Hybrid dual SIM slots.

The phone packs 5000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 support. Redmi Note 7S will be shipped with QuickCharge 2.0 charger but you can buy the QuickCharge 3.0 or newer charger on Xiaomi’s website.

  • 4GB RAM with 64 GB storage: Rs. 12999

It will be available starting May 23.
