Oppo has now confirmed that its latest Oppo Reno series will make its debut in India. The company has started sending media invites for the launch of May 28.

Oppo Reno series was unveiled last month in China. The series includes Oppo Reno, Oppo Reno 10X Zoom Edition, and Oppo Reno 5G. We are only expecting the launch of Oppo Reno and Oppo Reno 10X Zoom Edition. There is no point of launching the 5G phone in India when 5G network is not yet available in the country.

OPPO Reno

The regular Oppo Reno features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 6. It also includes a Snapdragon 710 processor and Adreno 616 GPU. The phone comes in 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8 GB RAM with 256GB storage models.

The phone has dual camera setup that includes 48 megapixels primary camera with Sony IMX586 sensor and 5 megapixels secondary camera. It also has a 16 megapixel front camera. The front camera is located on a side lifting panel.

The phone features In-display fingerprint sensor and packs 3765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

Oppo Reno 10X Zoom Edition features better specs and a larger display. It has 6.6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 6. It packs Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 with Adreno 640 GPU. It also comes with same RAM and Storage options including 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8 GB RAM with 256GB storage.

It has triple camera setup that includes 48 megapixels primary Sony IMX586 sensor, 13 megapixels periscope telephoto lens for 10x optical zoom and 8 megapixels 120° Ultra Wide camera. It also has 16 megapixels front camera with LED flash.

It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner and packs 4065mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

Oppo Reno standard edition should start at around Rs. 39999 while the 10X zoom edition should cost more than Rs. 55000. This is my guess, and actual pricing will be confirmed at the time of launch.
