Moto Z4 with 6.4-inch Display, Snapdragon 675, In-display fingerprint sensor announced
After several leaks, finally Moto Z4 has been officially announced and it will be going Motorola’s Z series.
Moto Z4 features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ 19:9 OLED display. The display also has Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 675 processor with Adreno 612 GPU. It has 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage with an option to expand storage up to 2TB.
It runs on a near-stock build of Android 9 Pie and includes Moto Actions and Moto Gestures.
The phone comes with 48 megapixels rear camera with Dual LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, PDAF, OIS, PDAF, and Laser Autofocus. This 48 megapixels camera uses Quad Pixel technology to output 12 megapixels shots. We saw this on several phones launch recently. It also brings Night Mode and the standard array of AI enhancements. There is also a 25 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
It has 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. The phone has front ported speaker.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. The phone packs 3,600 mAh battery and it comes with 12W TurboPower Charger within the box.
Moto Z4 costs $499 and will be available starting June 6. The company has also announced few launch offers like customers who purchase it from Best Buy, B&H or Amazon will receive a free 360-degree camera Moto Mod as an added bonus.
The phone has P2i nano-coating for being Splash Resistant. It also features Splash Resistant. Moto Z4 comes in Flash Grey and Frost White color options. Dimensions measure 158 x 75 x 7.35mm and it weighs 165g.
Motorola has also announced a new 5G Moto mod that brings 5G connectivity to the phone at an extra cost of $200.
