Meizu just announced its latest mid-range Meizu 16Xs phone in China. The phone comes with 48 megapixels camera and lacks headphone jack.

Meizu 16Xs features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED On-Cell display with 430nit brightness. The phone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with Flyme OS 7. It packs 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 675 processor with Adreno 612 GPU. It also has 6GB RAM and comes in 64GB or 128GB internal storage options.

The phone has triple camera that includes 48 megapixels primary camera with Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 8 megapixels 118.8° ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture and 5 megapixels camera with f/1.9 aperture. There is also a 16 megapixels front camera with f/2.2 aperture.

It features In-display fingerprint sensor. The company claims that this option can unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds. The phone lacks 3.5mm audio jack, so supports USB Type-C audio. The company also unveiled a new EP2C Type-C headset with built-in DAC.

The phone has plexiglass back and comes in Midnight Black, Blue, Coral Orange, and Silk White colors. It weighs 165g and dimensions measure 152×74.4×8.35mm.

It also features Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS, USB Type-C connectivity options. The phone packs 4000 mAh battery with 18w fast charging.

The 64GB storage variant costs 1698 yuan while the 128GB storage variant is priced at 1998 Yuan. The phone will go on sale from June 10th in China but pre-order starts today.
