itel, one of the mobile brands from TRANSSION Holdings, has launched its new budget smartphone itel A46 in India. The phone comes with a dual rear camera and costs Rs. 4999.

itel A46 features a 5.45-inch HD display offering 1440x 720 pixels resolution. The phone runs on the latest Android 9 Pie out of the box. It packs 1.6 GHz Octa Core processor but the company didn’t confirm the exact chipset name.

The phone also offers 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Storage is also ep=xpandable up to 128GB. The company has also confirmed that a variant with 1 GB Ran with 16GB storage is also there.

It features an AI dual camera that includes 8 megapixels primary camera and a secondary VGA camera. It has inbuilt scenario detection for adjusting camera settings at the time of capturing photos. It can also identify 1001 types of objects. The phone also has a 5 megapixels front camera with soft light LED flash at the front.

The fingerprint sensor is located on the back panel and it also supports face unlock. The phone comes with dual tone colors including Gradation Diamond Gray, Fiery Red, Neon Water, and Dark Water.

It features dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and microUSB. The phone packs 2400 mAh battery.

Customers can also avail Reliance Jio free data offer where they will 50GB additional free 4G data along with Rs. 1,200 instant cashback on recharges of Rs. 198 and Rs. 299 over a period of 24 months.
